Reliability
The moment you press start, Pomini computes every boundary ahead of you and hands the alerts to iOS itself. Lock the phone or leave the app entirely. The chime lands on the clock, because nothing needs to be awake to fire it. Change your plan and the whole chain is rebuilt on the spot.
Outside the app
A Live Activity keeps the timer on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, counting down natively to the second. Widgets for the home screen and the lock screen show where you are at a glance, and when a phase ends they move on with you.

The classic 25 and 5 out of the box, presets up to 90 minutes when the work runs deep, and a long break after every fourth session. Let phases start themselves or keep every boundary in your hands. Even skipping ahead respects that choice.

Your focus history lives on your phone and is never transmitted. There is no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking. A purchase is handled by Apple and RevenueCat with an anonymous ID and your store receipt, and a small relay of ours keeps the lock screen card current while the app is closed. That is the whole list.
Timer, tasks, tags and history are stored locally and nowhere else.
Session alarms are scheduled on the device and fire without any server. The lock screen card is kept current by a small relay that receives only the card's push token, the session's boundary times and the prepared card text, holds them while the session runs, and deletes everything when it ends.
While a focus session runs, the apps you chose stay closed. Enforced by iOS on the phone, never watched by us.
Finished sessions can land in Apple Health and your calendar. Both are off until you ask, and both stay on the phone.
