Tap + and answer two things: a day, and when in that day. The second answer is a preset, morning through night, plus anytime. Remsy draws a real minute inside that preset's window and rounds it to something tidy. Most reminder apps make you translate "this evening" into 19:00 before they will take it. Remsy stores the answer you gave.

Either half can be exact instead. Specific date opens a calendar on the day slot and Specific time opens the clock on the time slot, so you can pin one and leave the other as a preset. A nudge set to an exact minute arrives at that minute.

A nudge arrives once, at its time. If you do not deal with it, it waits in your list and stays in the count at the top of the screen until you complete it, move it or delete it. It does not speak again.

Two ways to move a nudge, and you use one or the other.

Later is the quick one: it rolls the nudge to the next part of the day and commits straight away. The « and » arrows beside it step the preview further out without changing anything, so you can see where it would land before you take it.

Some other time opens a sentence you fill in: move this to a day, at a preset. Nothing moves until you tap OK. Tapping a day, a preset or Shuffle only changes what the sentence says; close the popup without confirming and the nudge keeps the time it had.

Someday is for things with no date that you still do not want to lose. A nudge shelved there speaks once, on a day drawn at random between 15 and 90 days from when you shelved it, at its own part of the day. From that point it is an ordinary nudge, and it can repeat like any other.

The day is drawn per nudge, so a handful shelved in one sitting come back spread out rather than all on the same afternoon. It stays in your list the whole time, sorted by that date like everything else, so you can open it and give it a real day whenever you want. Shelving it again draws a new day.

Yes, with Remsy Plus. Open a nudge and tap Repeat, then either Every day or a number and a unit: every so many minutes, hours, weeks, months or years. Every week, every month and every year are that control set to one. Which units are offered depends on the day the nudge is set to.

Minutes and hours run round the clock, which is what a course of medication needs. Set the time first and the repeat applies on top of it: a nudge set for 9pm and repeated every 4 hours runs 9pm, 1am, 5am, 9am, 1pm, 5pm. Miss one and the card keeps showing that occurrence rather than the next, until you act on it. If you want it to arrive during a Focus mode, switch on "Come through Focus". That sits under the Sound choice and has nothing to do with the repeat: any reminder can use it, on its own or alongside a sound, and none does unless you say so.

Done this one completes the occurrence in front of you and the arrangement carries on. The trash on a repeat skips just that one occurrence. Delete repeating nudge, further down the card, is the one that ends the whole thing. Opened from the calendar, Done and the trash apply to the day you tapped rather than to one occurrence, which only differs on an hourly repeat.

If your Plus subscription lapses, nothing is deleted. The repeat stops running and Done this one wears a padlock. On the Today screen you can put the whole arrangement away rather than clear its show-ups one at a time: swipe the card, or use the trash, and it leaves Today. It is still on the Calendar, with its cadence, its history and any days you had skipped. Subscribe again and it picks up where it left off and comes back to Today on its own.

On the Today screen, swipe a card to the left to complete it. There is no distance to reach and nothing to confirm: once the card has moved left, letting go completes it. Drag it back to where it started if you change your mind. A completed nudge goes to Done and can be restored from there, and a repeat completes the show-up in front of you and carries on.

On the Done screen the same swipe removes an entry for good, with a few seconds to undo it.

A repeat that cannot run because Plus has lapsed is put away instead of completed. See the answer above: nothing is deleted and it stays on the Calendar.

Yes. Open the nudge and tap Pause, then pick the date it should run again on. "Resumes on August 3" means it runs on August 3.

A pause does not change the rhythm. Remsy simply clears the occurrences between now and the date you picked, the same way deleting one occurrence at a time does, so the arrangement comes back on its own schedule with nothing to repair. You can resume early at any time, and the days already skipped stay skipped.

A repeat that runs several times a day comes back at the first of its times on the resume day, which may be during the night.

In Preferences, under "When each part lands", you set two things per part: the hours it covers, and a preferred time inside them. A nudge in that part lands on that exact minute. Leave a part on Surprise me instead and Remsy draws a time inside the part's own hours, snapped to a round minute. The Shuffle button sits beside the time in the sentence and draws again, on any part. Pressing it on a part that has a preferred time gives that one nudge a drawn minute instead; the preferred time itself stays set and every other nudge in that part still lands on it. Picking the part again brings the preferred time back.

Under "Weekend hours" you can hold weekend nudges to a narrower window than the rest of the week. Which days count as your weekend is the section above it. Week days use the part hours as they are. A specific time is never held to any of this: it is exactly what you asked for and is left alone.

Check that notifications are allowed for Remsy in Settings, then Notifications, then Remsy. Remsy uses local notifications, so it needs no connection and no account.

A nudge plays a sound by default. Switch it to Silent when you create it and it still arrives on screen, without the sound. A Focus mode holds everything back, unless you switched on "Come through Focus" for that nudge, which sits under the Sound choice. You can also let Remsy through in Settings, then Focus, then the mode you use.

If nothing plays a sound at all, check Settings, then Notifications, then Remsy. If there is no Sounds row there, iOS has Remsy on record as an app that does not use sound. Reinstall the app to clear that, and export a backup from Preferences first, because deleting the app deletes your nudges with it.

If they arrive but at odd times, check "When each part lands" in Preferences. A narrow window squeezes every nudge in that part into it.

Tapping a notification opens the app on that nudge with its card already open, or on Done if you have already completed it.

Three active nudges in total, not per day. Someday counts, and so does anything you share in from another app. Completing or deleting one frees a slot.

At the limit, sharing into Remsy stops too: you get the paywall, and closing it without subscribing means the shared text is not kept. Remsy Plus removes the limit, unlocks repeating nudges, lets you pause one until a date you pick, and opens all nineteen palettes.

Yes. Share text or a link from any app and pick Remsy, and it is filed to Someday so it does not interrupt anything. A share never asks you a system question mid-share: if Remsy has not been allowed notifications yet it takes iOS's quiet permission instead, and iOS offers Keep or Turn Off on the first one that arrives. Open the nudge afterwards to edit it or give it a real day.

In Preferences, under Your data, tap Back up. The file holds your nudges, your Done list and your settings.

Save it somewhere the new device can reach, such as Files or iCloud Drive, then open Preferences there and tap Restore. Remsy cannot be opened straight from a shared file, so it has to be saved first. You will be asked to confirm before a restore replaces anything.

Preferences, then Manage subscription, which opens Apple's subscription screen. You can also get there through Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Lifetime Plus is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel; if you bought Lifetime while a monthly or yearly plan was still active, cancel that subscription separately or it keeps renewing.

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Remsy Plus (subscription or lifetime) is tied to your App Store account, not to the device or the app data, so signing in with the same account gets it back.

Your nudges live on your device, plus wherever you choose to keep a backup file. Remsy has no account and no server of ours, and your nudges are never sent anywhere. Each time you open Remsy it asks RevenueCat, the service that tracks subscriptions, whether Remsy Plus is active on your store account. That check carries an anonymous ID and your store receipt, and nothing else. If you subscribe, the payment itself goes through Apple. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Because we hold nothing, we cannot recover anything after the app is deleted or the device is reset, unless you saved a backup. A full device backup includes Remsy.

Delete the app. That removes everything Remsy stored on the device, though a backup file you saved earlier stays wherever you put it, and a Remsy Plus subscription still needs cancelling separately.
