1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Fenger Digital GmbH ("we") and govern your use of the Remsy app. By using Remsy you accept these terms.
2. The service
Remsy is a personal reminder app. All content you create is stored locally on your device. We run no server for it and have no access to it. Each time Remsy opens it asks RevenueCat, the service that tracks subscriptions, whether Remsy Plus is active; the Privacy Policy sets out what that sends. You are responsible for backing up your device. You can also use the in-app export feature to save a copy of your data and the import feature to restore it. If the app or the device data is deleted without a backup, your reminders cannot be recovered by us.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Remsy on devices you own or control, in accordance with the terms of the app store you downloaded Remsy from (for example, the Apple Media Services Terms).
4. Remsy Plus
- The free version lets you keep up to 3 active nudges at a time, counted across all days and the Someday shelf together. Completing or deleting a nudge frees up space for a new one. The limit covers content you share into Remsy from another app as well: at the limit that content is not saved, and Remsy offers Remsy Plus instead.
- Remsy Plus unlocks unlimited nudges, all premium color palettes, repeating nudges, and pausing a repeat until a date you pick. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
- A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your app store's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Buying lifetime Plus does not cancel an existing subscription; cancel that separately if you no longer want it to renew.
- A lifetime purchase unlocks Plus permanently on the Apple Account that bought it. Restore purchases on a new device signed into the same account.
- Refunds are handled by your app store under its policies. Statutory rights, including those of consumers in the EU, remain unaffected.
5. Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, palettes, icons, and text are the property of Fenger Digital GmbH or its licensors. Content you create in Remsy is yours.
7. Warranty and liability
Remsy is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and, in cases of slight negligence, only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Liability for injury to life, body, or health and under mandatory statutory law (including product liability) remains unaffected. Remsy is a reminder aid. Please do not rely on it for safety critical, medical, or time critical obligations.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when the app or the law changes. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page before they take effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
